Mom's Driving Academy opened in 2011 and is owned and operated by Susan Menville and Marcie and Todd McBride.

 

Susan is the mother of a 32 year old graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and an 22 year old Catholic High School graduate, so she understands parents' concerns about their teens learning how to drive safely and is committed to teaching responsible driving skills.

Marcie and Todd are no strangers to the Baton Rouge community, and they are excited for the opportunity to carry on the tradition of preparing conscientious and safe drivers. The McBrides are proud parents to two boys, Edward (12) and Quentin (7). Marcie is a veteran educator with nearly twenty years of classroom experience where she currently works as a fourth grade teacher at a local online charter school. Todd is an owner and part of the executive management team at his family’s company, Billy Heroman’s.

Mom's Driving Academy is State Certified and Licensed and is approved by the Department of Public Safety and the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles.

All instructors at Mom's Driving Academy are experienced, dedicated and passionate. Student driving lessons are always private, with one-on-one instruction to ensure student safety and maximize learning time.

Mom's Driving Academy respects your time, and works hard to ensure that your student is able to schedule driving lessons within days or weeks after completing the classroom instruction.
